Geonosis, our home,
is corrupted with these
lost souls staining our
sands of time with empty
blood.
One is pinned, one is
screaming for mercy,
but the strings of time
will not have this spilled
blood.
They call him the Skywalker,
but I hardly see him
using the air to deceive our
brothers in armor for
blood.
This war, this civility that calmed
this land years ago is now
stopped, and the only thing we
brothers think of is the taste of
blood.

Why should I remain honest
After all the shit I’ve done?
You don’t lie because you can’t
You don’t have it in your heart
It takes a certain skill
The ability to play the part

Or all the things I made you lose?
What is this remorse you feel?
Why bother with the shame?
It only gets in the way

Prose: I am the sociopath
I am the sociopath, the empty monster that walks among you in the guise of human flesh.
I am the one who seems to feel, but this is an act. Under this mask, there is nothing. No love, no fear, no sympathy. I can shake your hand and you can shake mine, and though I seem to be normal in every way, the reality is that I simply feel nothing. Absolutely nothing.
I am the one who will manipulate you. I will mirror you values, study your emotions, get in closer to you. Then I will take you for all you've got. I will leave you drained, devastated, weeping as you wonder where you went wrong. I will ruin your life, and I will enjoy it.

Some people think I don't feel,
And maybe I don't.
It makes me wonder if I chose,
Whether or not I should feel.
Or whether I should remain,
Emotionless and cold to the world.

I wish this had more of a sense of the reek as an animal and an individual--that worked really well in the first couple stanzas, and then dropped off. But either way, it's a pretty nicely written poem from an interesting point of view. It certainly caught my attention.
